Easy Strawberry Sauce (no cook, sugar-free)

A fresh, light, and healthy No-cook strawberry sauce. Sweetened with honey.

Ingredients

  • 100 grams (3.5 oz) fresh strawberries at room temperature
  • 60 grams (2.1 oz) honey
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • a pinch lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Blend strawberries along with all of the remaining ingredients, except the chia seeds, in a small food processor or blender.
  • Transfer the sauce to a clean glass jar. Stir in the chia seeds.
  • Close the jar and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
  • Serve over Greek yogurt or ice cream.
