Greek Red Pepper Feta Dip (Htipiti)

Htipiti is a spicy, roasted red pepper and whipped feta cheese dip. Creamy and delicious!

Ingredients

For The Htipiti:

For The Pita Chips:

  • 5 pita chips
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a food processor and pulse until almost completely smooth. Greeks like it a bit chunky. However, you can pulse until completely uniform if you prefer.
  • Serve garnished with red pepper flakes on top, pita chips or pita bread on the side, or some crusty sourdough bread.

For The Pita Chips:

  • Preheat oven to 220°C / 430°F.
  • Cut each pita into 6 triangles.
  • Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with the seasonings, and season with salt and pepper. Toss to combine.
  • Lay on a tray pan and bake for 6 minutes.
  • Flip and bake for 2-4 minutes more until crispy and deep golden-brown.
