Crustless Cheese Pie (Tiropita Without Phyllo)
A savory Cheesepie without crust, aka No Phyllo Tiropita, with feta cheese, Greek yogurt, sesame seeds, and plenty of olive oil.

- 150 grams (⅔ cup) Greek yogurt
- 200 ml Buttermilk or sourmilk
- 180 ml water
- 120 ml olive oil + extra for the pan
- 2 large eggs
- 220 grams (2 cups) all-purpose flour
- 100 grams (½ cup + 2 tablespoons) corn flour / maize flour not cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ⅔ teaspoon salt
- 350 grams (12.3 ounces) feta cheese coarsely crumbled

Preheat oven to 180°C / 355°F.
Combine dry ingredients in a bowl (flour, corn flour, baking powder, and salt).
Whisk together eggs and yogurt in a large mixing bowl.
Add the olive oil, water, and Buttermilk and whisk to combine.
Mix in the dry ingredients gradually until uniform.
Stir in the feta cheese.
Add a good splash of olive oil, and brush to coat the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan (23 x 33 cm). Sprinkle with sesame seeds enough to coat the bottom surface of the pan.
Add the cheese pie batter and spread evenly.
Drizzle with olive oil on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake for 40 to 50 minutes until honey-browned on top.
Cool for 30 minutes.
Cut into 12 square pieces and serve!
